GIRLS UNDER 21 HANDICAP SINGLES TOURNAMENT
Friday 24th - Sunday 26th November 2017
at Radley College, Abingdon OX14 2HU
Building on the successful tournament last year and the encouraging number of girls who are playing more regularly and competitively, this year’s tournament will again be held over two days although time has been set aside on the Friday evening should it be required. Competitors will be placed in round robin groups of similar handicap with the winner and runner up progressing through to the knock out stage. It is likely that we will play the younger and least strong groups on the Saturday and the older, stronger groups will play on the Sunday. If you have a specific school commitment on Saturday, please state the time of your availability on the entry form below. The format of these handicap tournaments is subject to change and is dependent upon entries. We will organise the tournament with the players’ best interests in mind and to provide as much tennis as possible.
LRTA Tournament Rules will apply. Competitors are required to be a member of the LRTA to play in this competition. Clothing should be predominantly white and the Tournament Committee’s decision on all matters shall be final. Further details will be e-mailed to you together with the draw. Parental consent for those competitors under the age of 18 years will be necessary and, if not already given, should be completed with your entry form. Closing date for entries is Saturday 11th November, 2017, (draws will be e-mailed to competitors by Saturday18th November, 2017). Competitors must be Under 21 years on 1st September 2017.
