The Masters tournament is open to players who are aged 40 or over before the tournament commences, and who are members of the Ladies Real Tennis Association. The main event is seeded and all matches will be Singles played off level with all rounds the best of 3 first to 6 games sets. There will also be a handicap doubles plate knock-out competition for first round losers. The format of the event is subject to change depending on the number of entries: if there is sufficient number of entries over and above the number required for the singles Masters Tournament, there will be a handicap doubles round robin tournament for the higher handicap players which will be run at Hardwick House.

All competitors must be available to play any time on Friday and Saturday; they must also be available to play on the Sunday if they get through the earlier rounds and all the final matches will be held on the Sunday.   Entrants may indicate any times at which it would be difficult for them to play, and whilst every effort will be made to take this into account, the organisers are not obliged (nor may they be able) to accommodate such requests. The entry fee is £35.00 per person.  Clothing  should be predominantly white.  Lunch will be available on each day at a nominal charge.

A Tournament Dinner will be held on Saturday 18th February at a cost of £25.00 per head in dedans at Hardwick.  Please confirm your reservation and pay for dinner places when submitting the Entry Form.  Final numbers for the dinner have to be confirmed by 10th February 2017.  Friends, family and supporters are very welcome.

We will also try to help with accommodation if required and give advice on local hotels, B&Bs etc.

Payment for the entry fee and dinner must be made when submitting your entry form – please note that entries will only be accepted once full payment has been received.  Payment may either be made by cheque (made out to the LRTA and sent to Katy Weston  -  address in the Members Handbook  -  with the completed entry form) or made online  -  details below.  Any enquiries please contact Katy Weston, details in the LRTA Members Handbook (the Blue Book).

You can enter this tournament by completing and submitting the form below online or you can download a printable form which can be found in the Members Area.
