Important Information for Participants |
||||
The Championships will be run according to the RULES FOR THE LADIES' WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS and the L.R.T.A. Rules for Ladies' Tournaments. These are available on the LRTA web site (click the underlined text for the full document). You are asked to ensure that you read and understand these. Please note that the rule regarding predominantly white clothing applies to shoes as well as other clothing worn during play. The times given for matches are guidelines only. Play should be continuous, so competitors are asked to ensure that they arrive at the court and are ready to play at least half-an-hour before the stated time for their match. The World Championships Rules governing late arrival are applied from 15 minutes before the published match start time so, as traffic in and around Manchester is unpredictable, please allow plenty of time for your journey to the court. |
